FedEx Express National Service Disruption: Severe Winter Weather

December 23, 2022

FedEx Express experienced substantial disruptions at our Memphis and Indianapolis hubs last night due to severe winter weather that has been moving across the United States. The safety of our team members remains our number one priority. Potential delays are possible for package deliveries across the U.S. with a delivery commitment of Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24. FedEx is committed to provide service to the best of our ability.

Please continue to check this Service Alerts page for updates. You can also track your shipments on fedex.com. Residential recipients can enroll in FedEx Delivery Manager to stay informed of their shipment’s progress. 

Consistent with the provisions of the FedEx Service Guide, shipments delayed due to inclement weather are not eligible for a refund or credit under the Money-Back Guarantee policy.

RETURNS 

At Georgie & Lou customer satisfaction is our #1 priority.  We will gladly issue a refund (minus shipping costs) for all returns that are received within 10 days of receipt of your order.  Return items must be unused and in their original packaging. Please be advised that any return received after the 10 days could be subject to a restocking fee.  This is "official policy", but PLEASE email us using the 'GET IN TOUCH' form, we are flexible and will always try and help.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs on returned items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We pride ourselves in the quick handling of your orders, with most in stock items shipping within 24 hours of ordering; however with kids, dogs and houses to run it could take up to 48 hours to process. We do not ship on Sundays or holidays.

Please note that delivery dates can change in the event of service interruptions or failures caused by events beyond the control of G & L (including for example, interruptions of our transportation systems or the services provided by our carriers, your bank or credit card company).

 

EXCHANGES

Exchanges of products purchased on Georgie & Lou.com must be made within 10 days of receipt of your order. We require that all exchanged items be in new condition, in the original packaging with the original tags still attached. To begin your exchange, scroll down to the refund/exchange form below and follow the steps. To process your exchange, you will return the original item(s). We will mail your new items as soon as the exchanged piece(s) are received. You will receive an exchange for each returned item minus processing and shipping cost.

GIFT ORDERS

Gift orders are eligible for store credit only. To begin your gift return, reach out to us with the order information at hello@georgieandlou.com. We will need your name, the original order number, and the item(s) you'd like to return. We can only issue store credit for items purchased from Georgie & Lou.com.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Returns and exchanges for all international orders will be treated the same as domestic orders with the exception that we cannot provide (1) a prepaid Smart Label for the return shipping or (2) a free shipping code for any replacement orders.
